UU Principles for Children

Although Unitarian Universalism doesn’t have a shared creed, we do have a shared covenant in the form of seven principles that serve as guideposts for responsible, ethical, and just living. These principles have been adapted into simpler, kid-friendly language:

  • Each person is important.
  • Be kind in all you do.
  • We’re free to learn together.
  • We search for what is true.
  • All people need a voice.
  • Build a fair and peaceful world.
  • We care for our planet.
