Unitarian Universalism is a liberal religion with Judeo-Christian roots. We have no creed or doctrine and are open to the wisdom of all the world’s faiths. We affirm the worth of all human beings, the importance of the spiritual quest, and the search for truth. We provide a warm, open, supportive community for people who believe that ethical living is the supreme essence of religion. Our faith community strives to be responsive to the religious, spiritual, and developmental needs of children, youth, and adults.
Our religious education program helps our children to develop a firm sense of who they are in our faith community, in their families, and as individuals. The program teaches personal values, ethical living, UU principles, and the sources of our heritage. Because we hold to no creed or doctrine, we encourage our children to discover their own developmentally appropriate worldviews as they search for truth. UU religious education gives children a framework they can build upon in a warm, open, supportive educational community.
