On Sunday, July 3, a new art exhibit featuring the Friday Painters will open in the Social Hall for a six-week stay. The Friday Painters have met weekly at First Unitarian for more than 20 years, where they have employed watercolor, acrylic, and multi-media in their realistic and abstract works.
Photographs of their art will also be displayed on our website starting July 13, where it can be purchased online. This procedure will be followed for subsequent art exhibits at the church. It can be accessed by going to https://uuabq.org/art-gallery/ .
On Sundays, look for the committee member wearing the purple scarf to make a purchase! Thirty percent of all sales go to First Unitarian, so come, feast your eyes on the works, and support the artists and the church.
