District Events
The Mountain Desert District hosts an assembly with great speakers and workshops by Regional Staff every year, in varying locations to ensure that assemblies are held reasonably close to several congregations at least every 4 years. In April 2016, the MDD assembly was held here at First Unitarian and was attended by congregations throughout the District. In 2019, it was held in Spokane, Washington during the UUA General Assembly.
Regional Events
The Pacific Western Region holds assemblies every four years. In 2018, we assembled in April in Portland, Oregon. Ongoing opportunities to connect with the PWR include webinars, in-person training, and online forums.
National Level
The UUA General Assembly (GA) is held every year in June, somewhere in the United States. The assembly in 2019 was in Spokane, WA.
In addition attending in person, congregants can participate as virtual delegates, and vote via computer streaming. Please contact the Denominational Affairs Team if you are interested in being a delegate or have questions.
