2020 Virtual Social Justice Auction!

The Social Justice Council uses the proceeds of its annual auction to fund requests by social justice groups within the church and the larger local community. We also support local nonprofits by giving them the coins placed in our Sunday service offering baskets. Now, in our new normal, the SJC has pivoted to meet the times and is donating to finance needs related to COVID-19.

One of the SJC goals for this year’s online auction, other than raising funds, is to have fun as a community. An online auction on Facebook allows many more people to participate than could ever attend the former one-night events. You’ll be able to bid, ask questions, chat, make new friends, learn about Social Justice groups in the church, and more.

The Facebook Auction link for viewing the Auction is available here. In the meantime, you can donate right now by contacting Benita.terrell@earthlink.net. And a big thank you to all of you that have already donated. You are appreciated.

Actual bidding won’t begin until November 1st. But a month of viewing in October will allow you to browse the items donated so far and stimulate your imagination about what you can give.
