Narrative is probably our most important communication tool. Whether stories are personal, national, or cover the entire human race, our brains have evolved to yearn for and respond to them. Religion has often harnessed this power. This sermon will explore how liberal religion can incorporate the “big narratives” and the small ones, especially as we work towards a more just world.
