Rentals at Our Albuquerque Location
First Unitarian, located at the junction of Comanche and Carlisle in central Albuquerque, has a two-acre campus that features New Mexican brick and stucco buildings and native desert plantings.
Our main sanctuary, which seats 250, is available for larger gatherings and ceremonies. The social hall, which includes a kitchen area, is suitable for catered events and smaller groups. In addition, we have several rooms available for meetings.

Frequently Asked Questions
 Q: How much parking is available?
We have parking lots on both the north (entrances on Carlisle and Comanche) and south (entrance on Carlisle) sides of the campus. We have 84 parking spaces in the main lot and about 10 in the back lot. Additional parking may be available after hours in adjacent lots--please check with us for more information.
Q: May we serve alcohol at our event?
Alcohol is not allowed on church campus. Please let us know if you intend to serve alcohol at your event so we may make special arrangements. Note that our campus is tobacco and drug free.
Q: May we use the playground equipment?
The playground equipment is not available for rental. Children are to be kept with adults at all time. The equipped playground belongs to the child care center and is not available for rentals except by special arrangement. Please check with the church office. There is a large grass area behind the Wesson and Arnold meeting rooms that can be made available.
Q: Can items be hung on the walls?
Minor decorating is allowed. Please discuss your intentions when you call. There are provisions for mounting items on the walls in all rooms. We ask that you use the existing arrangements and not tape or tack anything to the walls.
Q: Are your ministers available to perform weddings and memorial services?
We have a list of UU ministers we can refer you to. Our professional staff are available for weddings, memorial and funeral services, child dedications, and other special services for both members of the congregation and the wider community. Click here for more information.
Q: Do you have a piano available?
Pianos are available by special arrangement in the sanctuary and social hall. Please ask us if you are interested in hiring our church music director or need referrals for musicians.
