How do we talk with the children?

Spiritual Not Dogmatic - April 14, 2013

Presented by the Rev. Christine Robinson

A sermon about humor, spirituality, and our actual lives. This title is chosen to attract folks through our corner sign; most people reading this will actually be in the religious category, albeit religious of the alternative type. A better title for the insiders would perhaps be Spirituality for all kind of believers...atheists, agnostics, pagans, theists, and all other sorts of Religious Liberals. I will talk about a definition of spirituality that will allow us all to use this useful term.

Faithiesm - 3/17/2013

Presented by the Rev. Christine Robinson

Chris Stedman is an Evangelical turned Atheist who finds himself allying with religious people to make the world a better place. He didn't coin the term Faitheism. It was applied to him, with derision, but he's taken it and made it his own as he developed a philosophy of life which is atheist and open to the wisdom and humanity of a variety of religious people. Sounds pretty, well... UU, and we will investigate his book this Sunday.
