Welcome! If you are curious about Unitarian Universalism, or are looking for a new church home, we welcome you to this Web site—thanks for checking us out! We are a congregation of persons with many beliefs, religious backgrounds, and questions. We impose no creed on our members but invite you to celebrate and grow with us in your own unique way. In this congregation, persons of diverse color, ethnicity, sexual orientation, family configuration, enablement, and socioeconomic status worship, work, play, share, and learn together. Our approach to religious faith, and to life in general, is to value what we have in common and to approach differences with curiosity and an open mind. We believe that religious community is best created without attempting to enforce uniformity of belief, and we treasure the religious diversity we have here. We are liberal Christians, atheists, pagans, agnostics, humanists, and believers in a higher power of many kinds, which we call by many names. We are a member congregation of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), and we are proud of a liberal religious heritage that goes back to the parish churches of New England and to the beginnings of Christianity two thousand years ago.

We want our Sunday worship services to be comfortable for visitors and people who come from a variety of religious backgrounds. We usually sing together, enjoy a time of quiet, hear from a wide variety of musical groups, listen to wise words from many traditions, and hear a sermon—it's all very easy to follow, even on a first visit. If you'll be bringing children, check out our section for parents and kids. We want your children to be comfortable too! Many adult classes, groups, and activities take place during the week, and visitors are welcome to join them.

We believe that, as Martin Luther King said, "The religion that ends with the individual, ends." Therefore we're involved in many kinds of service to our community. We house a child care center, La Puerta de los Ninos, operate a Food Pantry and an After School program for our neighborhood children, and participate in many community projects and organizations, including Project Share and Albuquerque Interfaith.
